I have a job interview today! It’s somewhere very proper and conservative, so I’m practicing being slightly more refined than usual. It’s a very curious role choice for me in some ways. Traditional admin management, small team, less room for development. But it’s a very positive feel, great location, lovely team and I would have time to give to my hobbies – primarily blogging. I would love to have time to write more and get my writing level back up to where it was 10-15 years ago when I was writing every day. This job would support that and it has the potential to be a place I could really commit to for a long time.
There are two rounds of interviews. I suspect that today is just a check that I can actually do the job. The second one would be the “cultural fit” interview to check that I can get along with the senior people. So I’m going to read through my CV, remind myself of how awesome I am and go talk about team management and administration!
Brain Goal: I will test my new blog plan for a month.
Action: The plan continues. Needs a little tweaking, but it’s workable.
Body Goal: I will stretch every day until I can sit cross-legged on the floor again.
Action: Forgot again! And I’m really missing the gym. My legs hurt from sitting all day and that’s just a bit embarrassing 🙂
Soul Goal: I will write a business plan for my next venture – getting paid to write.
Action: Hubby and I went through a whole business plan planning template and discussed all sorts of goals, issues and plans for getting a side business up and running. I havne’t written a plan yet, but I’m feeling good about moving on to that soon.
