Tue Review: 5 May 2020
I can’t believe that we have been home-based for almost 2 months now, and I still feel like it is new. Work is busy and most of it is new, not my regular tasks, so to an extent I’m still running on adrenaline.
But at last we had our Italian Staycation. The days we were meant to be away in Sardinia were instead spent listening to Italian pop music and making pizza (marinara and margherita) and ravioli (ricotta – you gotta!). It was wonderful! By the way, I highly recommend making pizza as a fun lockdown activity for anyone.
Cooking has become such a major pastime for so many people, and I think that pizza-mkaing might become one of our regular activities. I’ve been getting good use out of the bread machine, so now I’m thinking I wonder if I should get the slow cooker out too? That might risk my goals!
Physical: Get my waist measurement to be under half my height.
Action: Two more kilos down, so I’m doing something right.
Mental: I’m going to learn a new skill.
Action: I have been thinking of doing an online drawing tutorial, because why not!
Spiritual: I will add some writing time to my routine.
Action: I’m not doing anything in the mornings before
