Low-key big living

Tue Review: 13 September 2016

We joined a gym. We bought the rower to go with the treadmill and now we’ve gone for a gym membership and we’re selling our equipment!  Not that I’m complaining, I’d much rather the gym membership and I’m super happy that hubby is enjoying it too. It’s just a shame that it’s so hard to sell second-hand gym equipment.
Our local gym is great, just like gyms I’ve been to before, but better. There is truly a mix of people there and the individual programmes set by the trainers are genuinely individual, so you don’t feel as though your programme is wussy next to someone else’s. Plus, there are boxercise/BodyCombat classes – YAY!  I say “yay” now, but I wasn’t saying that so much in the class. It’s been close to 15 years since I last did a BC class. We were on tape 18 at the time, now they’re up to 63 and the tempo is vicious!  Still, I had fun. I just wasn’t very accurate, ha ha.

Goal Check!
Brain Goal: I will read 5 books by Christmas.

Action: Still not started, and I have been given a few more books as presents so the backlog is growing!

Body Goal: I will exercise for 30 minutes every day, outside when the weather permits.

Action: Super-duper action happening for this one!  Whoop whoop!
Soul Goal: I will create a post for each of the new places I’ve visited this year.

Action: Made some notes with hubby over the weekend, so this one is moving up the To-Do list!
