I’m still on a bit of a high from a recent indulgence. I spent a few hours in a coffee shop, all by myself, reading, researching and writing. BLISS!! It’s one of my favourite ways to spend time – being publically alone. I love hanging with hubby and with friends. I love hanging around at home by myself. But I get a certain kind of joy from being on my own in a city. I feel free in that environment. I’m an observing participant, only tuning in to the stimuli I choose. It’s a bit like playing a computer game and my character is surrounded by NPCs.
Brain Goal: I will read a book by Christmas.
Action: Still going.
Body Goal: I will exercise for 1 hour per day, 6 days per week.
Action: I haven’t been exercising 6 days/week. More like 4, maybe 5. And I need to compare new fitness options. Fortunately, it’s almost January and gyms like to launch good offers in the new year!
I will set up my volunteering-related new page by Christmas. I will practice meditating for 10 minutes every day for 10 days
Action: I downloaded the Headspace app and this is what you do in the free trial 🙂
