I have been feeling the weight of life lately. There is some big stuff coming up at work and every day I arrive motivated and ready to take it on, and yet by lunchtime I’m feeling completely deflated. I’m not even doing anything in the evening that gives me a pick-me-up. I think I’ve been reading too much news lately. I’m keen to know what’s happening in the world, but my goodness it makes one depressed!
But in the good news, we have tickets for our trip to India! YAY! We’re keeping it to just India, not tacking on any other destinations. Not that I mind at all. There is so much to see in Delhi. Even during our last trip there I didn’t see all the highlights, and we were there for a month!
Brain Goal: I will read 5 books by Christmas.
Action: I didn’t take the book to the gym. A good thing about the gym equipment is that it has built in Sudoku 🙂 That’s still exercising my brain.
Body Goal: I will exercise for 1 hour per day, 6 days per week.
Action: Totally got this sorted, and my gym routine has been adjusted so that I actually can finish it in an hour, so there should be some more free time in the evening, even if it is just 15 minutes!
Soul Goal: I will create a post for each of the new places I’ve visited this year.
Action: Nope. Everything is an effort right now. How defeatist of me!
